I recently spent some time reviewing the 80 domains I own and came to the realization that these might be some of the most “lowest hanging fruit” in my asset collection.
Why do I have all these domains – but letting GoDaddy run AdSense on them?
I buy the domains, and GoDaddy benefits.
GoDaddy 1, Christian 0
I need to start generating an easy template solution for these domains.
Stay tuned for ideas.

Joomla is growing fast, and with so many loyal users, developers and functionality, I’ve decided to take the plunge and learn as much as I can about the content management system.
The first site will be Jacob’s Hope for Sight, a web site designed to drive donations for a member of our family.
Since I am brand new to the CMS, I will continue to post my thoughts and experiences as I become better acquainted. As a first step, I am working my way through Getting Started with Joomla, and hope to have a basic donations site up and live within a week.
Is it as good as Wordpress?
I guess we’ll find out…

A gravatar is basically a simple avatar that follows you around from site to site. Forums, blog comments, etc… can share a universal avatar for ease and simplicity.
How is this part of of my financial supplementation project? It’s not, but it’s cool and interesting.

Things are crazy.
Unless you work for the government or the military, the days of pensions and guaranteed retirement are long gone.
This blog is designed to chronicle the trials and tribulations, successes and failures, associated with building supplementary financial stability in this new economy.
From a financial security perspective, the only person you can depend on in this world is you.
Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.
